I have been back working on Big Bolt, a 1934 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton Pick Up Truck. I didn’t stop but either slowed down or didn’t publish a blog report on the latest. All things being considered, “I figure I should provide a wee bit of an update” as Mrs Doubtfire might say.
One headlight has been missing since Monique and I brought Big Bolt home. Decided to not bother looking for it, but will instead create one out of new parts and some old parts that are laying around. A couple of pieces of acrylic that were once part of a shelf were used to trace the outline of the headlight mounting ring on it, then one was cut and prepared with the remainder of the guts to install a light within the headlight bucket. This way I will have the old look but a new hi-lo beam headlight.
Been working on some rear taillights for a while, nearly completed and once they are, mount onto the frame.
