Why wouldn’t you want a truck like this? Too much? Too far? Rat Rod – $15000 (SE Huntsville)

Here a 1950 Chev flatbed. Its done up but no way you could get it saftied in British columbia. Greart ideas though. I like the way it looks and consider this for Bigbolt.I’m liking this flat-bed truck! Here is the post on Craigslist http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/4459253018.html

I built this on a ’88 S10 chassis. The S10 was a drag truck, so the 355 has a large cam, high-compression , A strong 350 turbo, short gears and Detroit locker. All new shocks, new heavy-duty sway bar, new idler arm, etc, new bearings, new oil cooler, electric fan, power disc brakes. All custom floor. Crystal skull dome light, custom Beatles tin storage under seat, comfortable park bench seat. Original heater has replacement core and works just fine. The running lights up front were fab’d from mustang tail lights. Reverse hinged hood. Battery under the bed. Custom storage in the bed. Sectioned, channeled and shortened. The 5 inch cowl is very unique. Glass is good, windows work fine.
This is best offer and I wish to sell this in next month or so. This truck gets enormous attention and accolades!!

1950 Chevrolet Rat Rod

1950 Chevy 4400. Built on a ’88 S10 chassis, strong almost new 355 has a large cam and plenty of power!…with 350 turbo, short gears and Detroit locker. All new shocks, new heavy-duty sway bar, new idler arm, etc, new bearings, new oil cooler, electric fan, power disc brakes. Headers with dual exhaust, sounds beastly! All custom floor made from road signs, tins and tags. Crystal blue skull dome light, custom tin storage under seat, very comfortable park bench seat. The cabin is tight and put together to be very strong. I’m 6″2 and have plenty of room and kinda drive Jesse James style, its wicked leaned forward like that with a nice view of the motor under the hood and folks can’t completely see ya. The steering wheel can be extended about 6″ as well. Original heater has replacement core and works just fine. The running lights up front were fab’d from mustang tail lights. Reverse hinged hood. Battery under the bed using 01 welding cables. Custom storage in the bed as well. Sectioned, channeled and shortened including the frame by 12″. The cab is about 20″ lower, the hood about 15″, hence the 5 inch cowl which is very unique. With the already larger fenders than what’s on a 3100, the truck has a mean, low and wide stance. The large mirrors and cutouts for the rear wheels gives it a cool effect. This truck gets enormous attention and accalades!! It’s ready for someone to add small finishing touches to make it their own. I can send video of it running!! I am listing locally as well1950-Chevrolet-Rat-Rod (1)

As you see, its got character. Older vehicles are like that. I continue to paint old vehicles on canvas because of this character they possess. Its my work.
